Orlando Condos Represent a Buyer´s Last Chance at Affordability
As the prices of Orlando real estate shot up this summer, many people were priced out of the housing market. However, a flood of newly converted Orlando condos may have played a principle role in the “increased sales and moderation of prices.”
These Orlando condos, which in most cases were converted from rental properties, were and still are some of the most “affordable housing available in the marketplace.” First-time buyers who couldn’t afford the asking price on most single-family homes rushed to purchase Orlando condos, some of which were priced as low as $125,000.
Orlando condos remain the only hope for many first-time buyers, and as people begin relocating from Hurricane Katrina devastated areas, Orlando condos may be the only affordable choice left.
