Orlando Real Estate Market Finally Moderating
Signs are starting to crop up that Orlando real estate prices may be moderating. Gone are the bidding wars that raged all summer, and sellers are finally accepting offers at or below asking price.
This doesn’t mean, however, that Orlando real estate buyers don’t have to make some concessions as well. For example, most buyers have completely ruled out living in downtown Orlando, as homes are not affordable.
Overall, the Orlando real estate market is weakening, and “slowing has occurred even as mortgage rates continued to hover near record low levels.” But realtors believe that prices will continue to climb, just not as quickly. They say that Orlando real estate has room to appreciate because three or four years ago, homes in the area were very under priced.
