Orlando Apartments Open Their Doors To Katrina´s Homeless

CED-Concord Management is using its Orlando apartments to help those left homeless by Hurricane Katrina. At the beginning of September, this development, building and real estate management company announced that it was waiving its application fee and one month´s rent for storm refugees.

One, two, three and four-bedroom Orlando apartments are available in the city center and its suburbs, including Deland, Kissimmee, St. Cloud, Lake Mary, Oviedo and Winter Garden.

Local CED-Concord leasing associates are completing application approvals in four to six hours on leases ranging from seven months to one year. Only a $200 deposit is required and there are special options available for families in need of Orlando apartments for less than seven months.

Local agencies will also be assisting storm refugees in finding "sources of household items, furniture, food, clothing, assistance with utilities, and more."
